Meisners plass som bassist i Eagles og ikkje som ein leigd musikker.
Dei andre medlemmene av Poco prøvde ikkje å overtale han til å bli
bandet, men dei aktivt oppmuntert Schmit til godta offeret fra The
Eagles. Både Timothy B Schmit og George Grantham forlat Poco i 1978 for
nye spille jobber / band. Poco ble reforma med to britiske
musikkere Charlie Harrison og Steve Chapman pluss Kim Bullard
fra Crosby, Stills & Nash.
